How to make plain unleavened bread, cheese and sugar
How to make pie:
Ingredients:
- A kilo of flour.
- A glass of water.
- A quarter of a tablespoon of salt.
- A tablespoon of lemon juice.
- 2 teaspoons of sugar.
- Half a cup of melted ghee.
- Half a cup of oil.
Method:
- In a deep bowl, mix flour, salt and sugar.
- Add lemon and water, and knead until we get a soft dough.
- Cut the dough into ten equal-sized pieces, and shape into balls.
- Arrange in a tray greased with oil, cover and leave the dough for half an hour.
- Mix ghee with oil and grease the marble with a little of them.
- Roll out a piece of dough until it becomes very thin, and brush it with oil mixed with ghee and put another layer on it, spread it out and paint with the oil mixture.
- The layers are repeated until we finish the dough.
- Press them a little from the sides until we get a round dough.
- Put it in a tray greased with oil, spread it out and sprinkle it on the surface of ghee mixed with oil.
- It is placed in a pre-heated oven at a temperature of 200 degrees, and left for at least a third of an hour until we get a golden color .
Pie with cheese:
Ingredients:
- A kilo of flour.
- A cup of butter.
- A glass of water.
- Pinch of salt.
- Pinch of sugar.
- Half a cup of cheddar cheese.
Method:
- Mix the flour with salt and sugar.
- Add water gradually while kneading until we get a cohesive dough.
- We leave it for half an hour.
- It is cut into two parts, and each one is spread separately until very thin.
- Brush each section with butter and put an amount of cheddar cheese inside each one, and roll the dough by hand onto the cheese.
- The two layers are placed on top of each other and click on them again.
- Put in a tray greased with butter, and put in the oven at a temperature of 200 degrees until we get a golden color.
Sugar pie:
Ingredients:
- A kilo of flour.
- A teaspoon of baking powder.
- Small spoon of salt.
- 2 tablespoons of oil.
- Water as needed.
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter.
- 5 tablespoons of sugar.
Method:
- Flour is mixed with salt and baking powder.
- Add oil and water gradually while kneading until we get a cohesive dough.
- The dough is placed for a quarter of an hour in the refrigerator.
- Divide into two parts, and roll each portion of the dough until fluffy.
- Brush each part with melted butter and sprinkle with a quantity of sugar, and put the other layer on it.
- Grease a tray with oil and put the pie in it.
- Put in the oven at a temperature of 200 until fully cooked.
